A SUMMER READ: THE COUPLE NEXT DOOR

There's nothing I love more than sitting by my pool reading a great book in the summer sun! The type of books that I tend to be drawn to are ones that are really able to keep my attention, because otherwise I will not finish reading them! Today's book recommendation is no exception! It was such a quick read that kept me on the edge of my seat and wanting more.

This past weekend I finished reading The Couple Next Door and I HIGHLY recommend it! If you have read the book The Girl on the Train, you will absolutely love this book! It's the perfect "beach book" because it's a serious page turner! I don't read a ton and I finished this book in ONE week, so you know from that what a great read it is!

Without giving anything away... this novel is really able to keep your attention because there are constant plot twists right up until the end! It keeps you on the edge of your seat and really never got boring like a lot of books because it shied away from including an overwhelming amount of detail.

COLLEGE GROCERY STAPLES

It's Finally Friday!! The spring semester is in full swing for this girl, however, spring break is in 7 days and counting, so things are looking up! Today I am sharing my college grocery staples, because at least at my school the food is not great and I mainly go to the dining hall for dinner. I am gluten-free, so everything on this list to the best of my knowledge is gluten-free! I do 99% of my grocery shopping at Wegmans and if you are from New York (other than NYC) you know how amazing this grocery store is! Above I am wearing my typical errands outfit, comfy and warm!
Drinks - orange juice - cranberry juice - smart watr - k cups
Fruit - (for fruit I like to the prepared containers because this is a lot less work and there's not a lot of room to prepare fruit at college) - lemons - strawberries - raspberries - apples - pineapple
Cheese/Meat - cheese - Chobani greek yogurt - turkey sandwich meat - all natural coffee creamer
Other Staples - peanut butter - popcorn - trail mix - …

THE COZIEST THERMAL FOR WINTER

Today's outfit is what I wear is a great depiction of what I would love to wear everyday, thermals, my favorite leggings, and hunters which are great for the tons of snow we have in New York. I love wearing this outfit and outfits like it to my classes and like today, to run errands. This thermal is so warm and insanely cozy!

My August 2017 List

I cannot believe that it's the end of summer and I am leaving for college this week! Today I am sharing my monthly list for August.

I read a post in the middle of the month and it seriously was so great at explaining when the best time to post is if you're interested you can find it here.
The shows that I have been binging this month have been Jane the Virgin - the new season 3 is now out on Netflix, this telenovela is so worth the watch and Desperate Housewives - I watched the entire show, all 8 seasons, a couple of years ago and now I am re-watching this great show on Hulu.

I recently picked up this Smashbox Primer Water, and so far I have been LOVING it. If you haven't already checked it, I would definitely do so. I love spraying it on in the afternoon to freshen up my makeup!

This month I wrote my first post in my new series "A Book to Read," this is where I will be sharing reviews and recommendations on the books I read. Here you can find the first post on …
