HOW TO DE-STRESS DURING COLLEGE FINALS WEEK

Now at the end of the semester it's getting super stressful so self-care is something that I feel like has not been very present in my life, especially after starting college. So, over spring break, when I actually was able to practice some self-care I decided that I really needed to put this into practice on more of daily basis. Here are some easy ways to help you de-stress these next couple weeks!

MAKE LISTS
This may not be the answer to everyone's stress, but when I am feeling overwhelmed and like I might forget something I really like to make a nice concise list either of everything I need to do or exactly what I need to study. Making lists really just helps me to empty my mind of everything I am worrying about, kind of like journaling.

FACE MASK
Don't forget about your skin these last few stressful weeks. Take the time to apply a face mask and relax for at least the ten minutes it take for your face mask to work.

TAKE A WALK/WORKOUT
If you're getting overly stressed while studying you will not be able to remember what you're going over when there's a billion other things on your ming, try taking a quick walk around campus or even going to workout. That way when you come back, you will be better able to focus from getting some of your nervous energy out.

COLOR
I love those stress relieving coloring books, so maybe next time you're feeling overwhelmed try these!

DRINK A CUP OF TEA
Try drinking a cup of caffeine free tea, this really helps me to calm down and relax. My favorite is chamomile tea it's very soothing and also calming.

TAKE A BREAK
When you are in the heat of finals week and have been studying for hours straight, remember that sleep along with eating are important. While eating healthy is best, if you're really struggling sometimes it's nice to have a fun pajama and ice cream party at the end of a long day!

COLLEGE GROCERY STAPLES

It's Finally Friday!! The spring semester is in full swing for this girl, however, spring break is in 7 days and counting, so things are looking up! Today I am sharing my college grocery staples, because at least at my school the food is not great and I mainly go to the dining hall for dinner. I am gluten-free, so everything on this list to the best of my knowledge is gluten-free! I do 99% of my grocery shopping at Wegmans and if you are from New York (other than NYC) you know how amazing this grocery store is! Above I am wearing my typical errands outfit, comfy and warm!
Drinks - orange juice - cranberry juice - smart watr - k cups
Fruit - (for fruit I like to the prepared containers because this is a lot less work and there's not a lot of room to prepare fruit at college) - lemons - strawberries - raspberries - apples - pineapple
Cheese/Meat - cheese - Chobani greek yogurt - turkey sandwich meat - all natural coffee creamer
Other Staples - peanut butter - popcorn - trail mix - …

THE COZIEST THERMAL FOR WINTER

Today's outfit is what I wear is a great depiction of what I would love to wear everyday, thermals, my favorite leggings, and hunters which are great for the tons of snow we have in New York. I love wearing this outfit and outfits like it to my classes and like today, to run errands. This thermal is so warm and insanely cozy!

TWENTY THINGS I'VE LEARNED IN TWENTY YEARS

Well, it’s official, I’m no longer a teenager, on Sunday I turned 20! So, in honor of having two decades of my life under my belt, today I am sharing twenty things I have learned in the past twenty years! Holy crap, I cannot believe how old I am, now that I am writing this post, haha!
ONE – Stay positive Over the last year specifically I have really learned that positivity is one of the most important characteristics that I want to have. When someone thinks of me, I want them to think of a positive person. Just trying to be more positive really helps me to just have a better day and to be an overall happier person in general. While the rest of this post is not in order based on importance, this is my number one thing I have learned before I turned 20!
TWO – Be grateful I have realized it’s important to take the time to remember to be extremely grateful for everything I have, you never know how long you will have something. It’s important to be grateful especially for the little things in …
