FRIDAY FIVE | 3.9.18

Happy Friday! Sam my adorable doggie's birthday was last week and I snapped this adorable photo of him with one of his birthday presents this cute donut toy! Today I am starting a new series "Friday Five," which I have seen done by numerous bloggers over the years as a way to share five things on Fridays to wrap up the week! I had been posting "Tuesday's Top Ten," however, finding ten different things to share is a LOT! So, for a more concise way to share new things on the blog I have decided to start up this new (hopefully) weekly post!

ONE | Sales
Here are some of my sale picks going on right now!
Anthropologie Thermal - $29.95
Free People Lofty V-Neck Sweater - $63.99
Madewell Insiders Sale - 15%

TWO | CC Cream
I finally tried the it Cosmetics CC cream and I really like it! It's great for everyday to wear to class or out running errands and it actually has pretty good coverage.

THREE | $40 Floral Set
Target came out with this beautiful floral set and it's only $40 total for the top and the bottom.

FOUR | Meal Prepping & A Label Printer
Julia of Lemon Stripes wrote an inspiring post all about Meal Prepping this week which was super interesting and also inspired me to pick up a bluetooth label maker! As I was strolling through Target yesterday and I found this one on clearance for $38.98! I have already been using it and LOVE it!

FIVE | Fifty Shades Freed
On Saturday night I went to see the new movie Fifty Shades Freed with my friend. This is the third movie in the Fifty Shades of Grey trio and it was really good! I love romantic movies with some suspense! This had both. I would definitely recommend seeing it if you were on the fence!

COLLEGE GROCERY STAPLES

It's Finally Friday!! The spring semester is in full swing for this girl, however, spring break is in 7 days and counting, so things are looking up! Today I am sharing my college grocery staples, because at least at my school the food is not great and I mainly go to the dining hall for dinner. I am gluten-free, so everything on this list to the best of my knowledge is gluten-free! I do 99% of my grocery shopping at Wegmans and if you are from New York (other than NYC) you know how amazing this grocery store is! Above I am wearing my typical errands outfit, comfy and warm!
Drinks - orange juice - cranberry juice - smart watr - k cups
Fruit - (for fruit I like to the prepared containers because this is a lot less work and there's not a lot of room to prepare fruit at college) - lemons - strawberries - raspberries - apples - pineapple
Cheese/Meat - cheese - Chobani greek yogurt - turkey sandwich meat - all natural coffee creamer
Other Staples - peanut butter - popcorn - trail mix - …

THE COZIEST THERMAL FOR WINTER

Today's outfit is what I wear is a great depiction of what I would love to wear everyday, thermals, my favorite leggings, and hunters which are great for the tons of snow we have in New York. I love wearing this outfit and outfits like it to my classes and like today, to run errands. This thermal is so warm and insanely cozy!

My August 2017 List

I cannot believe that it's the end of summer and I am leaving for college this week! Today I am sharing my monthly list for August.

I read a post in the middle of the month and it seriously was so great at explaining when the best time to post is if you're interested you can find it here.
The shows that I have been binging this month have been Jane the Virgin - the new season 3 is now out on Netflix, this telenovela is so worth the watch and Desperate Housewives - I watched the entire show, all 8 seasons, a couple of years ago and now I am re-watching this great show on Hulu.

I recently picked up this Smashbox Primer Water, and so far I have been LOVING it. If you haven't already checked it, I would definitely do so. I love spraying it on in the afternoon to freshen up my makeup!

This month I wrote my first post in my new series "A Book to Read," this is where I will be sharing reviews and recommendations on the books I read. Here you can find the first post on …
