One of my favorite summer deserts has always been peach shortcakes! So, today I am sharing the recipe I use for this delicious treat, you can find this recipe in the Better Homes and Gardens Cook Book.
1/4 cup sugar
2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup butter
1 egg beaten
2/3 cup milk
Combine dry ingredients, then add wet ingredients. Bake at 425 for 15-18 minutes.
Stir sliced beaches and 1/4 cup of sugar.
